[Post 10] iPhone

The iPhone portion is catching up to the rest of the project finally. Quick sneak peak of what is to come, the logistics & functionality of the app has been figured out. For the most part the app would function in a relatively similar way to the hub but with more emphasis on cataloging daily, weekly, or monthly stats. From here the app would sync information with the hub, keeping the user connected to the community even when they are not logged on online.

[Post 9] Any-Goal

Creating a system for users to accomplish their goals has been a tricky one. Today finally, the esthetic has taken an interesting turn.

The color scheme has change drastically from the green scheme that was taking form before. Lately degree process has been slow but there has been a sudden explosion of iterations. Things are shaping up and will be updated asap. The mobile portion of the hub has come to a sudden halt weither or not it will be worth continuing as part of the system is still an undecided variable, however with a new design direction the mobile logger will shape up in a matter of minutes. Stay tuned & keep and opened mind!

[Post 6] Updated Plan

After removing the poster component from the line up of things to do, my schedule of events has been altered to account for this change.

After reviewing the components of the system, the plan has been accelerated to compensate for remaining design time.

[Post 5] Choosing a Style

Choosing a mode of visual appeal is difficult. Graphs will play a pivotal role in allowing users to track their progress on a certain goal. Deciding on a visual mode is difficult, "Should there be multiple graphs for different goals?" "Can one graph visualize information effectively for any scenario? If so, what form will it take? Bar, line, or circle graph? With the aim of being unique, the form each graph(s) will take is being augmented. How far can a graph of information be pushed before the content is distorted. End the end, simple may be better, with a strong visual mode attached.

With the Hub portion coming together in a rather speedy fashion, there are a few properties that will have to accounted for. Should the system function independent from the app? & How much should the community aspect be integrated into the hub, or should it function as a piece of the whole? But when considering the scenarios that are taking shape, it may not matter one way or another.

[Scenario 1] Creating an account & Starting a goal
[Scenario 2] Using the Any Goal app to log stats
[Scenario 3] Completing a goal & Creating a testimonial

As of now Guillermo, "the scenario guy," never actually takes advantage of the community (person to person) aspect. On the other hand he does utilize the hub as a tool and in the end creates a testimonial of his own, that others have the privileged of viewing as a success.

[Post 4] Planning

After evaluating the components in my system, it was brought to my attention that the poster portion, though it was a valid solution for promotional use, actually served no major purpose for the system. Taking this into consideration I have made the conscious decision to drop the posters form the project and focus on the Hub / App variables instead. Project outline is in need of a little rearranging and will be updated soon.
